Kanye West gave advice to Kendall and Kylie Jenner for their fashion line.

The budding young fashion designers have revealed the rapper - who is dating their half-sister Kim Kardashian - helped them create their new range for American clothing store PacSun and they found his advice ''inspiring''.

Kylie told Fashionista.com: ''He's such a creative person and he's really cool and it's like very cool to have him in the family now. He's such a nice guy. A couple of days ago, I was in the kitchen and so was he and I was just talking about my clothing line and how excited I was and he was like, 'Your clothing line - I can help you and design. We can do this!'

''He's just kind of about taking over the world with fashion pretty much and that's really inspiring.''

Having launched his own fashion lines in the past, including Dw by Kanye West and Pastelle Clothing, the 'Clique' hitmaker's support has been welcomed by Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 15. However, the pair insist won't be turning to their famous siblings - Kim, Kourtney and Khloe - for any help with their new venture.

Asked what they have learned from their sisters, Kendall explained: ''Not much. I mean, with our clothing line and our jewellery line, we didn't want much input from them, just because we wanted this to be all us. We're trying to not be so involved.

''This isn't their clothing line. This isn't their jewellery line. It's ours. We don't want their input on it. We didn't need it. We know what we're talking about for the most part.''
