Despite a two hour delay, Kanye West's 'Yeezus' tour kick-off show in Seattle received rave reviews on Saturday night (Oct 19th). The next scheduled show, on his first solo tour since 2008, was set for Vancouver on Sunday night but suddenly the 36 year-old rapper cancelled the concert.

Kanye West
West has not yet confirmed a reason for the cancellation

According to the Vancouver Sun, West cancelled the concert "due to unforeseen circumstances" and reschedules it for the evening on Halloween.

Rumours suggest the postponement is linked to reports that a production/equipment truck for the 'Yeezus' tour was stolen in Seattle the night before, which was the reason behind the 2 hour delay on opening night.

The concert's venue, Rogers Arena, posted on the announcement on its official twitter page at 2.26pm stating, "Tonight's @KanyeWest show has been postponed to October 31st. #YeezusTour." They also announced the cancellation on their website.

Fans were left devastated as they wasted a journey, travel expenses and missed work, Several fans even accused the twitter account of being hacked, but they quickly confirmed that was not the case, "Sorry, we're disappointed too. But no hackers here,' Rogers Arena tweeted. 'So sorry to hear. Unfortunate circumstances for everyone involved".

The Vancouver crowd will be very angry they are missing out on the high-energy, religious-themed performance Kanye exposed the Seattle crowd to.It included 12 women all dressed in white, a 60 foot mountain, and a visit from the Son-of-God himself, as a Jesus look-alike joined the stage with the mask wearing West.

Kendrick Lamar is the supporting act on the tour.

The 'Black Skinhead' singer's tour is supporting his latest studio album 'Yeezus' that was released on June 18th 2013.
