The 29-year-old Big Bang Theory star uploaded an image of Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet with the words: ‘Piglet noticed that even though he had a very small heart, it could hold a rather large amount of gratitude.’
She captioned the image with a heartfelt message to her family and fans who had sent messages about the breakdown of her relationship with Sweeting.
‘I'm feeling completely overwhelmed with the outpouring of kindness and support from the people that surround me and from those I have never even met,’ Cuoco wrote.
‘I want you to know, I read all your comments and your sweet words have touched me deeply. I'm incredibly grateful for all your love as I start this next chapter in my life.’
Cuoco and Sweeting began dating in June 2013 and announced their engagement just three months later. They married in December 2013. Sadly their marriage wasn’t to be. Last month, Cuoco’s representative confirmed they had separated and were in the process of divorcing.
Reports in Us Weekly suggest the couple filed for divorce at the beginning of September, weeks before they confirmed their split. It’s uncertain the reason behind their split and irreconcilable differences are stated on the divorce papers.
Cuoco and Sweeting had filed a pre-nuptial agreement but, last week, Sweeting filed for spousal support.
