The pair were wedded in an impromptu ceremony live on the show, after Cuoco had said she wants to get married as soon as possible.
Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are married! Well, not exactly, or at all really, but they did provide pretty entertaining TV at least. The Big Bang Theory star and her professional tennis player lover man were pushed to exchange vows on the Ellen Degeneres Show by the shows host in an impromptu ceremony set up in their honour.
Sweeting and Cuoco got engaged in September
"This isn't legal, right?" Sweetings asked his bride-to-be as she was pushed by DeGeneres towards the makeshift canopy where he and head writer Kevin A. Leman II stood. Cuoco had been discussing life with her fiance, whom she got engaged to in September after three months of dating, when Ellen offered her the chance of an immediate wedding at the show's expense - an offer that she jumped at.
"My head writer, Kevin, over the summer became ordained; he married a couple," DeGeneres told Cuoco moments after asking her about the immediate ceremony, at which point Kevin, Ryan and a prop canopy had been set up for the in-love couple. The two said their "I dos" and shared a kiss in the company of Ellen and Kevin and they were wed! Or at least they were given an Ellen wedding, which you could argue is much better than the real deal anyway.
Kaley has had marriage on her mind ever since Sweeting popped the question in September and she has made no secret of her desire to get married as soon as possible. The actress caused a stir last month when she Instagrammed a picture of herself wearing a wedding dress, prompting rumours that the big day was imminent, however the dress was later revealed to be a costume from an upcoming role.
No wedding date has been revealed yet
