Justin Timberlake says his golf game is going badly.

The singer-and-actor - who is obsessed with The Game - hasn't had the time to practice his swing because he has been so busy making movies for the last few months.

He said: "My game is pretty terrible. You know, it's that old thing. When the work is good, the game suffers. But you work so you can play."

Justin can currently be seen in 'The Social Network' and also stars in two other movies out soon 'Friends With Benefits' and 'Bad Teacher' - in which he appears with his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz.

The 29-year-old heartthrob launched the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open golf tournament in Las Vegas on Tuesday (19.10.10).

The annual charity Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour event ends with a party at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on Saturday (23.10.10) at which Justin will perform along with Sir Elton John, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, Salt-N-Pepa and Lady Antebellum, among others.

The singer can't wait to play live but thinks his own set will be eclipsed by 'Rocket Man' singer Elton.

He added to People: "I'm going to go out on a limb and say Elton is going to bring the house down."

Justin is so obsessed with golf he even has a putting green at his Los Angeles mansion so he can practice anytime he wants.
