Justin Bieber's team look set to be trying to ensure 20 year-old Mariah Yeater will be rueing the day she accused the baby-faced pop star of being the father of her three month old child. Bieber will reportedly take a paternity test to prove that he is not the father, and then his lawyers look set to take Yeater to court over an allegation that could - if proven true - tarnish the star's squeaky clean image at the time of his Christmas album 'Under The Mistletoe', which was released last week.
Entertainment site Tmz.com have reported that though Bieber is currently in Europe - he performed last night (November 6th 2011) in Belfast, Northern Ireland at the Mtv Europe Music Awards in a ceremony hosted by girlfriend Selena Gomez - he is deadly serious to take the Dna test upon his return to the Usa to prove he's not the father. The 17 year-old's lawyer Howard Weitzman has apparently contacted Yeater's attorneys to confirm this, and has also selected a lab to undertake the test. If - as Bieber's team are confident - he is found to be in the clear then it's expected that Weitzman will sue Yeater; something that her own legal team are reported to be "nervous" about.
For her part however, Yeater has now come out to The Insider to defend her allegations that he had sex with her backstage at a Los Angeles concert, saying "When we got to what turned out to be a bathroom, his whole demeanor changed, it went from cute and gushy to, just, more aggressive." She reportedly has proof of his fatherhood; that it'd be stronger than a Dna test though is pretty unlikely.
