Justin Bieber's 2013 has contained the usual success he has come accustomed to, but it has also garnered him a fair amount of backlash.

The 19 year-old, who has spent a large portion of time on his 'Believe' world tour, has had run-ins with the law and faced criticism over his erratic behaviour.

Bieber is trying to establish himself as a young adult and wash away the image of been a squeaky-clean teen artist.

But has Justin finally had enough of fame?

The 'Love Me' singer recently visited Power 106 radio station on Tuesday morning (Dec 17th) and revealed the future of his music career.

In a short clip Bieber said, "Um, I'm actually retiring, man," and although he said it with a straight face, many believe the Canadian pop-star is joking around.

In fact a source close to Bieber told E!News, "Of course it's not true."
