Loads of stars are taking the opportunity to head into space with the Virgin Galactic program. Granted, celebs and the super-rich are the only people who can really afford to up there, and no one really cares if some rich business man buys a ticket.

But for Justin Bieber, the latest high profile figure to splash out on the intergalactic vacation, there might be an ulterior motive, you know, apart from the fact it’ll be an amazing experience. We reckon his latest run-in with the paparazzi might have something to do with it; the 19-year-old singer got so mad at a photographer, he ordered his bodyguards to retrieve the memory card on which photos of him were being snapped. TMZ have the audio, and you can hear the Baby singer saying "Get that f***ing camera out of here!" outside The Hit Factory recording studio. "Alright, alright. I'm gonna give you your camera back. I'm gonna take your SIM card though," explains Bieber, who probably meant memory card, but was all flustered by the confrontation. So yeah, we think Biebz is shooting where some men and women have gone before just to get away from those pesky paps. You heard it here first.

"Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun (Bieber's manager) are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!" tweeted Sir Richard Branson, the CEO of Virgin. It costs $200,000 (£128,000) to get up there, and the likes of Ashton Kutcher and Leonardo DiCaprio have already snapped up the chance to go.
