A conman who duped Justin Bieber fans out of thousands of dollars by falsely offering them the chance to meet the singer has been jailed for a year.
A number of the pop star's loyal devotees fell victim to a scam perpetrated by Andy Ross, 26, from Motherwell, Scotland, who sold non-existent tickets to Bieber's shows in London earlier this year (13), as well as phoney meet-and-greet packages.
Ross pleaded guilty to four charges of fraud relating to his Bieber con, admitting he scammed fans out of more than $4,500 (£3,000), and he was sentenced to 12 months behind bars, according to Britain's Daily Record newspaper.
