Justin Bieber has vehemently denied claims he has become a dad at the age of 17. The 'Baby' hit maker has vowed to pursue legal action against a 20-year-old woman who claims to have slept with him and later gave birth to his child, according to Tmz.com.
The singer is adamant he never had sexual relations with the woman following his sold out concert at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles last year. The woman in question has filed a paternity suit against the Canadian superstar, alleging she is bringing up his 3-month-old child. An insider says Justin believes the story is "completely made up", but his legal team are nevertheless taking the matter further. In a statement on Wednesday (2nd November 2011), his representatives said, "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations". A hearing on the matter has been set for December 2011, although it is not clear whether the 17-year-old will be required to attend court.
Meanwhile, Bieber attempted to cool the speculation on his Twitter page, telling his 14 million followers, "Im going to ignore the rumors...and focus on what is real. an opportunity to help by doing what i love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!".
