Spanish superstar Julio Iglesias is set to share the stage with Haitian president Michel Martelly at a benefit concert on Friday (28Dec12).

Iglesias and the singer-turned-politician will perform two songs in Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic to raise money for the Pink and White Foundation, a charity Martelly founded with his wife Sophia.

A number of celebrities are expected to turn out for the show, among them designers Donna Karen and Oscar de la Renta.

Martelly enjoyed a long music career before taking office in May, 2011 - he recorded a total of 14 studio albums from 1988 to 2008.
