Movie 43 Trailer

If you were hoping for a romantic comedy with a harmless storyline, romance and inoffensive jokes, the here's a warning: read no further. 'Movie 43' is one of the most cringe-worthy and uncensored taboo-filled flicks to be released in the history of comedy. Here you will see several interlinked stories with characters' lives surrounding unusual proposals, interrupting blind kids' parties, bad parenting, teenage menstruation, a confused and slightly racist basketball coach, innovative business ideas and the kidnapping of a violent leprechaun. Once you see this movie it is unlikely you will find a subject that offends you ever again.

With twelve different comedy genius directors including Peter Farrelly ('Dumb & Dumber', 'There's Something About Mary', 'Shallow Hal'), Steve Carr ('Daddy Day Care', 'Dr Dolittle 2'), Steven Brill ('Little Nicky') and Brett Ratner ('Rush Hour') to name but a few and eight different writers, this jaw-droppingly crude and often obscene movie features a diverse star-studded cast, both British and American, who have banded together to shock you in the most hilarious ways you can think of. Whatever kind of comedy you're into, 'Movie 43' probably has something in it for everyone and it is set to hit the big screen on February 1st 2012.

Directed by : Elizabeth Banks, Steven Brill, Steve Carr, Rusty Cundieff, James Duffy, Griffin Dunne, Peter Farrelly, Patrik Forsberg, James Gunn, Bob Odenkirk, Brett Ratner, Jonathan van Tulleken

Jam Review

Good
I have to give director Craig Serling some credit. Setting Jam where it is -- on a narrow road blocked by a car wreck and a downed power line -- takes balls. Ensemble dramas like this are legion, but suggesting that people will just hang out for 90 minutes (our time, anyway) and re-evaluate their lives while they wait for the cops to clear the way is either genius or insane.

As with many ensemble flicks, Jam has some good stories and some bad, some good actors and some poor ones. There's a couple dealing with overwork and considering whether to have a baby, a woman on the way to her wedding, and a lesbian couple, one of whom is nine months pregnant. One vehicle is stolen, and at least one angst-ridden teen can be found in the mix. In fact, everyone is pretty angry... though no one seems to overly mind being stuck on the road for hours on end.

Lip Service Review

Weak
With amusing insidery comments about attending "that sucky arts college in the Bay Area," Lip Service starts off as funny but quickly becomes unlikely and dull as it degenerates into a female version of The Odd Couple. Jami Gertz and Sybil Temchen play old college roommates who reunite years later in Temchen's upscale furniture store. The catch: Temchen feels guilty for selling Gertz's chair as her own design so she takes her in. The catch: Gertz is a slut, a drunk, and generally anti-social. And Temchen is the opposite. Hijinks ensue as they learn about life from each other or until you fall asleep, whichever comes first.
