Julianne Hough, the 22-year-old American singer and former professional on Dancing With The Stars clashed with the singer Christina Aguilera at a pre-GOLDEN GLOBES party that was attended by the likes of Colin Firth and Julia Roberts according to E! Entertainment. The pair, who starred together in the recent movie 'Burlesque', were both guests at the event at Soho House in West Hollywood on Friday (14th January 2011).
An eyewitness at the bash who spoke to E! noted that Aguilera was not pleased to see the young singer at the party and "really got in her face" before she "unleashed a verbal barrage at Hough". Onlookers said that Aguilera grabbed the 22-year-old and 'threatened to torpedo her burgeoning country singing career'. Hough, the current girlfriend of television personality Ryan Seacrest, is set to release her much anticipated second album 'Wildfire' later this year and the album's lead single 'Is That So Wrong' first hit the airwaves back in June 2010 to generally positive reviews. 30-year-old Aguilera, who has sold almost 50 million albums worldwide, will perform the national anthem at the forthcoming Super Bowl XLV.
Despite the reported bust-up, Hough walked down the red carpet with Seacrest at Sunday's GOLDEN GLOBES ceremony (16th January 2011) and told E! that she "felt like a woman" in her Marchesa gown. When Seacrest asked her what she felt like before, she joked, "A little girl, which you love".
