Julia Stiles is delighted to be playing a motherly role in horror remake The Omen because she is finally being seen as a grown-up actress. The 25-year-old made her name in teen movies including 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU and SAVE THE LAST DANCE - and is surprised she has gone from one extreme to the other so quickly. She tells the New York Daily News, "I did seem to jump over the ingenue characters and go straight to a 'mother' role. "It's weird, because I thought there was a lot of variety to my films, but I became known for teen roles. So now people are saying, 'Finally we're getting to see you in adult roles.' And that's really exciting."
