Julia Roberts' actress niece Emma aims to follow the career path of Anne Hathaway - because she is one of the few to make a successful transition from teen star to Hollywood A-list.
Roberts shot to fame in 2004 with a role in Nickelodeon television series Unfabulous, and has gone on to star in a variety of kids' movies including Aquamarine, Nancy Drew and last year's (08) Wild Child.
But the 17-year-old is determined to eventually break out of teen films and carve a successful career in Hollywood - like her idol Anne Hathaway.
The Devil Wears Prada star's first big role came in 2001 Disney picture The Princess Diaries and she is now nominated for an Oscar for Rachel Getting Married.
And Roberts cites Lindsay Lohan as an example of a former child star who has failed to replicate her success as an adult, insisting she won't be following in the Mean Girls star's footsteps.
She tells Moviehole.net, "I just think it's very thin ice you're walking on, to make the transition from child actor to adolescence. Because so many people just mess it up, and they do things that are so outrageous.
"Anne Hathaway - the fact she was in The Princess Diaries, you'd never think about that. Whereas, like, Lindsay Lohan, you still know that she was in Freaky Friday and The Parent Trap, and it's hard to take her seriously.
"So that's why I really like Anne Hathaway, she is a great example. I think she's been nominated for so many awards this year. And the fact that she starred in a Disney movie when she was in her teens - a lot of people don't even know that, I don't think."
