Life could have been very different for OSCAR-winning actress Julia Roberts - she harboured a dream to become a teacher before PRETTY WOMAN swept her into the limelight.

The stunning star, who ironically plays a teacher in her latest film Mona LISA SMILE, always had an ambition to teach English, but abandoned her plans in favour of becoming an actress.

Julia says, "I would have liked to teach English. But then the acting went so well so early on that I never got beyond the planning phase."
