Actress Julia Roberts has reflected on her role as the evil Queen Clementianna from a motherly perspective, stating that she does not want her children to see the film due to her villainous character. The mother of 7-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and 4-year-old Henry is used to her children seeing her in much lighter roles, with the protective parent determining that her children might not be ready to see her wicked turn.
Roberts has since stated that despite her role as tormentor to Snow White, who is played by Lily Collins, she has not picked up on any signs of evil queen coming out at home. The once prolific star dramatically reduced her filming duties after she became a parent with husband DANNY MODER, however she looks to be returning to her role as leading lady with at least two more of her films slated for a 2012 release. Among these films is the movie adaptation of the Tracy Letts play August: Osage County alongside Meryl Streep in which they will portray the mother and daughter roles of Violet and Barbara. The Normal Heart, also adapted from a play will see her play physician Emma Brookner in the HIV/AIDS drama alongside MARK RUFFALO.
