A suspect accused of planning an attack on British singer Joss Stone was excused from a pre-trial hearing on Monday (16Apr12) as he remains in a mental hospital.
Exeter Crown Court heard that Junior Bradshaw, who suffers from schizophrenia, was unable to attend after being transferred from prison to a mental health unit in Manchester, England.
It is believed the 30 year old, who is charged with conspiring to harm and rob Stone but has yet to enter a plea, may not be able to stand trial as he is emotionally unstable.
Fellow suspect Kevin Liverpool, who has also undergone an evaluation to determine his mental state, was remanded in custody until the trial, scheduled for August (12). He has pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to commit robbery.
The two men were arrested near the You Had Me hitmaker's countryside home in Devon, England last June (11), accused of targeting her for a robbery.
