Josh Duhamel, the American actor who rose to fame playing 'Leo Du Pres' on 'All My Children', will return to the soap for a cameo appearance before the long-running series comes to an end this fall, reports Access Hollywood. Josh Duhamel won an Emmy Award for his role as the infamous con-artist Leo in 2002.
Duhamel, who recently completed work on 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon', will reprise his role as du Pres for a brief cameo later this year. Executive producer Julie Carruthers spoke of her delight at the actor's return, saying, "Everyone at All My Children is thrilled and excited to welcome Josh back to Pine Valley. The appearance of Leo is sure to be one of the highlights of the season". Duhamel's former love interest on the show, 'Greenlee' played by Rebecca Budig, is also back on the program and it's likely that the actor's cameo will see him reunite with his former-love. On the 14th April 2011, ABC announced the cancellation of 'All My Children' after 41 years on the air. The show is reportedly being replaced by the new lifestyle programme 'The Chew'. The network's other long-running soap 'One Life to Live' will also bow out in January 2012.
After shooting his cameo appearance, Josh Duhamel will begin work on the forthcoming drama movie 'Fire with Fire', starring Bruce Willis and 50 Cent. The film centres on a fireman who takes an unexpected course of action when he's threatened by a man who he has been asked to testify against.
