British actor Joseph Fiennes hated the other actors on the set of his new movie The Great Raid, because they ate huge meals while he starved for his role as prison of war in Japan.

The 35-year-old actor was forced to adhere to a strict dietary regime to look like an underfed captive, but his will-power sorely tested when he witnessed other cast members enjoying high fat delicacies.

Fiennes says, "It was painful walking through the cafeteria watching the guys who were playing the rescue team loading up on food while we were eating salads."
