Jorge Garcia would ''definitely love'' to star in a comedy.
The 38-year-old actor - who is currently portraying Dr. Diego Soto in Fox prison drama 'Alcatraz' - wants to take the humour he injects into his alter-ego in the TV series and play a comic character on the big screen, but admits it is difficult to find funny scripts.
He told BANG Showbiz: ''I definitely would love to do comedy acting. If I like The Script then I would absolutely try to get a role.
''But it's harder to find the comedy scripts that make me laugh and not roll my eyes sometimes.''
Jorge - who starred as Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes in long-running TV series 'Lost' - admits he has tried to inject some humour into all of his characters to relieve ''tension'' from the serious dramas.
He added: ''Mixing humour and dramatic elements of characteristics is definitely the way my characters seem to go.
''I definitely try to find places to add a little bit of likeness amid all the tension. It tends to be enjoyable.''
