Australian drama LOOK BOTH WAYS has taken the top prize at the 17th Natfilm festival in Copenhagen, Denmark. SARAH WATTS' critically acclaimed movie, about seven friends dealing with unexpected events, picked up the TV5Monde Critics Award at the annual event, which ended on Sunday (02APR06). A statement from the jury said, "The film manages to entertain at the same time as it captures the zeitgeist and the big and small worries of everyday life." Meanwhile, Jonathan Demme's portrait of Canadian rocker Neil Young, entitled NEIL YOUNG - HEART OF GOLD, won over Danish film fans and won the Audience Award.
