They say that time is a great healer and it certainly looks as though that's the case for Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin. The couple that hit headlines when they starred in the reality TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8 - about their family life with twins and sextuplets - filed for divorce in 2009. After having their family life on the US nation's TV screens, their acrimonious split was equally widely publicised. In an interview with People magazine, Jon has apologized for the way that he behaved when he and Kate split.
After separating from Kate, Jon Gosselin dated a string of women, quite publicly. Now, he has apologized for his damaging antics. "I am sorry, because I did stuff I wouldn't want done to me." He also accepts that his behavior within the marriage was not conducive to a healthy relationship. "I was passive-aggressive," he told People. "Then I'd get mad, but I was the one who wasn't communicating." Relations have definitely improved between the two of them though and Jon has learned to accept that their different approaches to looking after their brood don't necessarily have to lead to arguments. "I'll call [Kate] up and say, 'Mady's sick. What do I do?' And she'll tell me. She's a great Mom. We just have different parenting styles."
Now, Jon is dating single mum Liz Jannetta and with the help of time and a little therapy, he has got a clearer perspective on life. He casts his mind back to the advice that he used to receive from Michael Jackson's Rabbi, Shmuley Boteach, who would tell him "'There are two things you can do with your fame - sell out or take it and use it for good.' I didn't grasp that at the time."
