Hollywood actor Johnny Depp hates watching his own films, because the experience always makes him ill.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL star admits he once felt unwell when he saw a snippet of 1993's WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE? on television - so much so he had to "walk away".

Johnny says, "I always figure that once I'm finished on a film, my job's done.

"So, if I can avoid seeing the final product, I will. Then all I have in my head is feeling good about the experience.

"I saw myself in France recently, and when I came on TV I was dubbed in French. That was weird.

"Another time, What's Eating Gilbert Grape? came on, which is a film I've never seen, even though I'm in it. When the opening credits came on, I started breathing funny and I had to walk away."
