Sony's 21 Jump Street , inspired by the 1980s' TV series featuring Johnny Depp, is expected to jump to the top of the box office this weekend with around $30-35 million, according to industry forecasters. It's the only new film opening wide, although a couple of high-profile/low-budget features are also debuting this weekend in a few hundred markets -- Jeff, Who Lives at Home , from the brothers Mark and Jay Duplass, and Casa de Mi Padre , starring Will Ferrell. Meanwhile, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax will be entering its third weekend in second place, according to box-office pundits, who are predicting that it will rake in around $20 million. The news for the costly flop John Carter is not expected to improve, with most predictions coming in at around $10-15 million, putting it in third place.
