Johnny Cash's daughter Rosanne Cash is singing loud and proud again after regaining the voice she thought she'd lost forever.

Rosanne has released RULES OF TRAVEL, her first record since she lost her voice in 1998 from polyps on her vocal cords.

A pal says, "Rosanne was really in shock. She never thought about life without expressing herself through music."

Her doctor said polyps would go away after the then-pregnant singer gave birth to her son JAKE, now four.

The growths receded six months later, but Cash remained silent for another two years.

Now the 47-year-old singer is celebrating her reborn voice by teaming up with her dad Johnny, 71, for a duet on her new recording.
