Late country legend Johnny Cash's strained relationship with his singer/songwriter daughter ROSANNE is the subject of a new tell-all book.
Grammy-winner Rosanne Cash is struggling to reconcile her relationship with The Ring of Fire hitmaker - who died in 2003 - according to author Michael Streissguth's upcoming book The List: Rosanne Cash's Search for Legacy.
And Streissguth claims the 53-year-old singer is recording her new covers album The List - comprised of her father's favourite tunes - to finally mend their relationship.
He writes, "It's never been easy for her to reconcile her relationship with her father. She's grateful every day while trying to fend off the bitterness that a drug- addicted, absentee parent left behind. Rosanne remains a daughter in search of a father."
The novel is scheduled to hit shelves in October (09), reports the New York Post.
