A huge collection of rare Johnny Cash tracks from the early 1970s is to be released in May (06). PERSONAL FILE, which consists of 49 previously unreleased tracks, charts the late singer's time at his House of Cash offices in Tennessee in 1973. The recordings were discovered by Cash's son JOHN CARTER CASH and Legacy Records A+R STEVE BERKOWITZ in 2004, and the pair insist there is even more unreleased material to be unearthed. Berkowitz says, "This is his Basement Tapes, (it's) as close as you can get to him singing on the porch."
