John Travolta says he would like to act alongside Lindsay Lohan in a forthcoming movie, reports US Magazine. John Travolta is set to play mob boss 'John Gotti' in a new biopic and Lohan is in talks to play his daughter 'Victoria Gotti'.
Despite Lohan's recent troubles, Travolta says he would be thrilled to star alongside the actress. Speaking at this week's New York press conference for the movie, the actor said, "I know whatever she would like to do would be great. I know first hand, Lindsay happens to be a very big fan of mine from years ago when she was a little girl and liked Danny Zuko and Vinny Barborino, so I always thought she was gorgeous and talented and filled with a lot of depth!" Lohan's mother Dina Lohan says Victoria Gotti has spoken to her personally, she said, "I'm really dear friends with Victoria. She brought Mark Fiore, the producer, to me and said she wanted Lindsay to play her and that she respects Lindsay as an actor. I love Victoria, so it's win win!".
John Travolta's character John Gotti died in 2002 at the age of 61, but according to his son, the mobster would have been pleased with the casting. Asked if his father was a fan of Saturday Night Fever, John Gotti JR said, "Absolutely, in the '70s and '80s, who wasn't a John Travolta fan?"
