John Stamos is out of rehab and feeling ‘healthy’ the actor has told his fans via Twitter. The ‘Full House’ star is said to have sought treatment following an incident last month when he was arrested for an alleged DUI in Beverly Hills.

The actor posted a picture of himself posing with a punch bag on twitter yesterday and captioned the image, ‘I'm back! Took a month to take care of things. Healthy. Feeling grateful for the love & support of family & friends.’

According to E! News the 51 year old spent a month in in a residential treatment facility for substance abuse issues, with no further details known about his stay. Last month Stamos was reportedly stopped by officers near Canon Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard after police received "numerous calls" about a possible DUI driver.

The actor was then taken to hospital tor a ‘possible medical condition’, where he was later placed under arrest for DUI after a ‘subsequent investigation determined he was under the influence’. He is currently scheduled to appear in court on September 11th to answer the DUI charge.

The day after the arrest Stamos tweeted, "Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I'm home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care.” Stamos is currently helping produce a reboot of series ‘Full House’ for Netflix which is set to debut in 2016.

The actor will also reprise his role as Uncle Jesse in the series which is titled ‘Fuller House’. Along with Stamos, original cast members Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin are also set to return,
