Former tennis ace John McEnroe's TV talk show was axed yesterday (03DEC04), after less then six months on the air.

McENROE has suffered dismal ratings since its summer (04) debut, and by the time it was cancelled, the show was averaging 75,000 viewers a night - less than half of the viewership for business programming in the time slot before it.

On some nights, the show failed to get a NIELSEN MEDIA RESEARCH rating at all, meaning the audience was too small to measure.

It will be replaced next month (JAN05) by The Big Idea, a talk show with advertising executive Donny Deutsch as host.
