The first wife of late BEATLE John Lennon doubts she will ever reconcile her differences with avant garde artist Yoko Ono, the woman he left her for.

CYNTHIA LENNON has been locked in a bitter feud with Ono since the death of the iconic IMAGINE hitmaker in 1980, despite her attempts to develop an accord for the sake of their sons JULIAN and SEAN.

Cynthia, who has recently published a book about her famous ex, says, "I really don't think a great deal about Yoko.

"I've tried to reconcile the situation. I've tried to get Sean and Julian together because they used to be such good friends."

But she adds, "I hasn't worked. I've tried to make peace. But after John died it was like - forget it."
