BEATLES star and peace activist John Lennon was unable to reconcile domestic differences, despite famously advocating tolerance and love - according to his first wife CYNTHIA.
Cynthia claims her former husband abandoned their son JULIAN after their divorce in 1968 - and they had to read in newspapers that he had moved to America with Yoko Ono.
Cynthia, now aged 66, admits, "It was staggering. I had no idea whether he planned to see his son again.
"John had just released IMAGINE, the song that would become an international anthem for peace; yet he couldn't pick up the phone, make peace with me and arrange to see his own son."
