A telephone bill belonging to John Lennon is set to fetch a staggering $360,000 (GBP200,000) at auction this month (28SEPT05) - because the late BEATLE penned the lyrics to I'M ONLY SLEEPING on it.

The document, a final demand from the General Post Office for twelve pounds and three shillings in pre-decimal British currency, was sent to Lennon in 1966 when he was working on THE Beatles' masterpiece Revolver.

A spokeswoman for Christie's auction house in London says, "There has been a lot of interest in the phone bill. Beatles memorabilia is always a favourite."
