The SPIDER star was one of hundreds who had to endure the BBC SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA's botched performance of John Cage's work entitled 4'33', during which the musicians are instructed not to play a single note.
The silence - which is required from audiences at classical shows - was repeatedly broken by muffled giggles, sighs and coughs at London's BARBICAN CENTRE, and Fiennes discovered he too was adding to the hubbub.
