Veteran British entertainer Joe Longthorne is recovering after undergoing cancer surgery.
The singer was diagnosed with throat cancer earlier this year (14) after doctors found a lump, and he is now in recovery after an operation.
Longthorne faces a tough few weeks as he bounces back from the procedure, but insists he is now cancer-free.

Veteran British entertainer Joe Longthorne is battling throat cancer eight years after beating leukaemia.
The 58-year-old star was diagnosed with the illness earlier this year (14) after undergoing a biopsy on a lump found in his throat.
He says in a statement to Britain's Blackpool Gazette newspaper, "I was completely and utterly shocked at being given the news about having to have treatment for throat cancer. However, I am 100 per cent positive. You have two choices on being given news like this - you can stay down or get up and fight. I've always chosen to fight and fight on I will. I've beaten it before and will do so again."

British entertainer Joe Longthorne has been admitted to hospital following a horrific car crash.
The 56-year-old star, who has battled leukaemia in the past, was in a car with his manager and nephew, who was behind the wheel, on Saturday (25Jun11) when the vehicle hit a traffic island and flipped over.
All three were taken to Leighton Hospital in Crewe, north England and they are all said to be in a stable condition.
An onlooker tells Britain's The People, "The car... clipped a traffic island and flipped, rolling over three times. The driver told police he had been accelerating and braking at the same time. There must have been a fault."

The PASSING STRANGERS entertainer was kept sedated for a fortnight at Manchester's Royal Infirmary in England where he was admitted in June (05) following a bone marrow transplant. He has been fighting non-Hodgkin's lymphoma since 1988.
The 50-year-old is still unable to talk due to a tube in his throat - but he has been able to write and doctors at the hospital are 'cautiously optimistic'.
