Jodie Foster has put one of her Los Angeles mansions on the market for $6.399 million.

The Oscar-winning actress, known for being extremely private, is selling her Spanish villa located in the distinguished Bird Streets in the Hollywood Hills, described as a ''refuge for those seeking the ultimate in privacy, security and style.''

The 'Inside Man' star's home, which she reportedly renovated after purchasing it almost 16 years ago, has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and an office with an attached guest suite, according to real estate website Zillow.com.

The secluded property can be discretely accessed from a rear-gated driveway and also boasts bay windows, cathedral ceilings, and views of Century City, an impressive home theatre, central courtyard pool and a shielded brick patio.

The luxurious master suite features a sitting area, walk-in closets and sauna.

The 50-year-old star, who has two sons, Charlie, 14, and Kit, 12, with her ex-girlfriend Cydney Bernard, bought the house in 1997 shortly before the birth of her first child.

Jodie splashed out a lavish new property in Beverly Hills for $11.75 million last year, which is expected to become her primary residence.
