Joan Rivers has confessed she scattered the ashes of a dead pal at the countryside home of Charles, Prince Of Wales.
The comedienne was visiting the prince at his Highgrove residence in Gloucestershire, west England, when she asked if she could dispose of some of her best friend Tommy's cremated remains in the grounds of the estate - and was stunned when the British royal agreed.
She tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "Prince Charles allowed it. I was at Highgrove and I said that my friend Tommy had died, and I said, 'May I scatter some of his ashes in the garden?'. He was in shock, but he said, 'Certainly.' I had them in a bag so Tommy is now scattered there."
Rivers has been friends with the heir to the British throne for years, and attended his wedding to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in 2005.
