The 'Fashion Police' star's daughter Melissa Rivers has offered an update on her 81-year-old mother's health following the scare during what was said to be a routine outpatient procedure on her vocal chords at a clinic in Manhattan, New York.
In a statement obtained by E! News, Melissa said: ''I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.''
