Joan Rivers was honoured by Benefit Cosmetics to mark the beginning of New York Fashion Week.
The 'Fashion Police' star was celebrated at a cocktail party on Wednesday (04.09.13) which recognised the accomplishments of strong-minded women.
She told Women's Wear Daily: ''In terms of fashion, Cate Blanchett is untouchable. Also, Halle Berry [and] Angelina Jolie, sticking out that leg [at the 2012 Academy Awards], she looked good.
''She was aerating because she had a yeast infection, but it started a trend.''
However, Joan's daughter, Melissa, blasted rising star Miley Cyrus for her fashion sense since she embarked on her more adult image, and suggested her controversial MTV Video Music Awards performance has ruined her credibility.
She said: ''Oh God ... Miley Cyrus. In the last two years they took her from child star to sex symbol, and in three-and-a-half minutes she blew it up.
''We all [had been] looking at her in terms of fashion, she was making best-dressed lists, and it all went to hell in a handbag, all from one show.''
