Dynasty legend Joan Collins admitted to having no idea who X-Factor winner Sam Bailey at a Prince's Trust awards ceremony headlined by the singer. To be fair to Collins, nobody really knows who Sam Bailey is, but it hasn't stopped the tabloids milking this one for all it's worth.
Joan Collins - "Who's Sam Bailey?"
Pointing to Bailey at the glitzy bash, Collins asked: "Who is that lady over there?" before adding "Oh, well I don't watch that show."
Nevertheless, Collins still invited the Skyscraper singer to join her very own celebrity selfie - a tribute to Ellen DeGeneres' snap that broke records at the Oscars earlier this month. Joan's selfie was exactly as star-studded - instead of Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep, we got Vernon Kay, Dominic West and Pixie Lott.
Bailey - who had The X-Factor won from her first audition last year - recently announced she is pregnant with her third child, though faced criticism that it had come at the wrong time for her career. The singer later branded the music industry "shallow" though denied that her comments were directed towards Simon Cowell.
Recently it was announced that Cheryl Cole would be re-joining the X-Factor panel, despite her famous falling out with Cowell over her sacking from the U.S version of the show. Cowell will also be back for the new series, hoping to revitalise his brand after flagging ratings and a cancellation stateside.
