Jo Wood turned to an unlikely counsellor to get through her split from her estranged ROLLING STONE husband RONNIE - partygirl supermodel Kate Moss.
The rocker, 61, split from his wife of 23 years last July (08), after his affair with 20-year-old Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova was exposed in the press.
Jo was left devastated by the break-up and couldn't face socialising with friends.
And the former model insists it was girl-about-town Kate Moss who finally persuaded her to get back out on the scene and start enjoying her life.
She says, "It was my friends and family who surrounded me and got me through. But you know what? Kate (Moss) gave me great advice. Even though you feel like it, you can't hide away. It's not the end of the world.
"It was horrendous. For the first few weeks I was in a total state. I didn't know what to do - I was just crying and I couldn't believe what had happened.
"I wasn't going to be broken by my marriage falling apart. When things get rough, Jo gets going. I picked myself up and recycled myself for a whole new life - and the truth is, I think I'm happier than I ever was before."
