JJ Abrams launched the Star Wars: Force for Change campaign in Abu Dhabi.
Attention Star Wars fanatics - you could be heading to Abu Dhabi for a special role in J.J Abrams forthcoming blockbuster, Episode VII. In a video shot on location in the UAE, the director announced the new Star Wars: Force for Change initiative dedicated to finding solutions to the world's biggest problems.

The first Force for Change campaign will raise funds and awareness for the United Nations Children's Fund's (UNICEF) Innovation Labs and its programs that benefit vulnerable children.
To launch the project, Disney - which now owns Lucasfilm - has commited $1 million (not that much, in the grand scheme of things), and fans can now contribute directly at Omaze.com/StarWars for a chance to appear in Star Wars: Episode VII.
All donators will be entered to a prize draw, which runs until 11.59pm on July 18, with the winner getting airfare and accommodation to London (for two). There, they will get behind-the-scenes access on the closed set of Star Wars: Episode VII as Abrams' VIP guests. The winner will also be transformed by the film's makeup and costume teams into a Star Wars character for a scene in the movie.
"We would like to invite you to be part of the fun here. We want to put you in the movie in Star Wars," Abrams said in the video.
"The Star Wars fans are some of the most passionate and committed folks around the globe," Abrams said in a statement. "We're thrilled to offer a chance to come behind the scenes as our VIP guests and be in Star Wars: Episode VII. We're even more excited that by participating in this campaign, Star Warsfans will be helping children around the world through our collaboration with UNICEF Innovation Labs and projects."
Star Wars: Episode VII stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, as well as new stars Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and John Boyega.
