Rocker Jimmy Page's guitar solo in Led Zeppelin classic STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN has been voted the greatest of all time in a new online poll.

Page's playing on the 1971 track topped the survey by music website AboutGuitars.com, beating out competition from EDDIE VAN HALEN's solo on the 1978 Van Halen track ERUPTION.

In third place is the dual guitar solo by ALLEN COLLINS and GARY ROSSINGTON on Lynyrd Skynyrd's 1973 epic FREEBIRD.
