Cyrus performed in disguise with Fallon at the 50th Street station for 'The Tonight Show'.
Miley Cyrus became a master of disguise this week as she busked a selection of her hits to commuters at a New York City subway station – and almost went unrecognised as she did so.
The 24 year old pop star took over Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ on Wednesday evening (June 14th), and teamed up with the host for a number of musical segments. One of these was a recording of her donning a hat and sunglasses for an incognito busking performance at The Rockefeller Centre.

Trump appeared on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon' back in September 2016, during which the host ruffled the future president's hair.
The Republican candidate pitched up on Fallon’s NBC show back in September last year, as the presidential election was heating up and liberals were becoming increasingly alarmed at Trump’s progress. During the interview, Fallon reached over to ruffle the would-be politician’s hair, and he swiftly received a backlash on social media for normalising and trivialising Trump after he had made several shocking policy statements.

Robert Irwin joins Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show' with more fascinating guests.
Steve Irwin's teenage son Robert Irwin has returned to 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and we just can't get enough of him. He brings with him a host of interesting and adorable creatures for the talk show host to enjoy, from leg-less lizards to cuddly baby black bears.

Just two months ago did Robert make his debut appearance on 'The Tonight Show', encouraging Jimmy to cuddle with gigantic snakes and sloths, and it seemed viewers loved him so much that he's been invited back to introduce more of his furry - and scaley - friends from Australia Zoo.
They perform 'Shape Of You' with The Roots on 'The Tonight Show'.
If only our elementary school music classes sounded this good! Ed Sheeran joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots on 'The Tonight Show' for an unusual rendition of his newest single 'Shape Of You' using only instruments found in children's classrooms. It's certainly impressive.
Ed Sheeran performs 'Shape Of You' with The Roots using classroom instruments
There's a reason why The Roots are one of the most hugely respected house bands in showbiz. They have a uniquely gifted approach to performing music, and they prove that every time they do a Classroom Instruments segment on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'.
Myers and Fallon performed a number of intriguing dance moves prompted by random instructions on 'The Tonight Show' this week.
Mike Myers accepted an improvised dance-off challenge with chat show host Jimmy Fallon when the comedy actor appeared on ‘The Tonight Show’ this week, in what ballooned into an Canada vs USA contest in tracksuits.
With 53 year old Myers appearing all in red with ‘Canada’ emblazoned on the front, Fallon in a similar blue tracksuit, each was holding a giant dice with different and somewhat unusual dance moves written on the sides.
Going first, Myers had to perform ‘Perpetual Motion’, for which he reached into his Austin Powers repertoire to bust out some impressive moves.

Last year Kidman told the story of a terrible first date she had with the ‘Tonight Show’ host, but it turns out there’s more to the saga.
During an appearance on the show in January of last year, Kidman had revealed her and Fallon once went on a date, but the funnyman didn’t realise it was a romantic set up.
Describing the evening Kidman said: “You wouldn’t say anything, and then you put a video game on or something...and so after about an hour and a half, I thought, ‘He has no interest, this is so embarrassing’ and then I was like, ‘Maybe he’s gay.’”

Jimmy Fallon and The Roots join metal band for classroom jam.
Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' is super fun to try and play on any instrument, but nothing compares to watching James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich try and re-create it with The Roots on only classroom instruments. Alas, what would entertainment be without 'Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon'?
Who knew 'Enter Sandman' could be so child-friendly?
In the latest instalment of Jimmy Fallon's Classroom Instruments series, members of Metallica took up some rather unusual instruments that they probably haven't seen since elementary school and played their landmark 1991 hit 'Enter Sandman' accompanied by The Roots (who, by now, have got quite adept at using mini-guitars, tiny keyboards, glockenspiels and maracas).
Q-Tip posts emotional Facebook post revealing new album release date.
Legendary rap group A Tribe Called Quest have confirmed the release date for their new album will be the 11th of November 2016. In a poignant Facebook post, Q-Tip revealed the news and just what started the process of a new record.
A Tribe Called Quest Rock the Bells in 2008
"On November 11, 2016 we will complete our paths of rhythm," said Q-Tip. The desire to make their first album in 18 years was fuelled by a performance on 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon last November, a move which has only become more prominent with the death of Malik 'Phife Dawg' Taylor, after a long battle with diabetes, at the age of 45.

We thought Dwayne Johnson was one of the coolest guys in Hollywood…until now.
On Thursday Dwayne Johnson stopped by ‘The Tonight Show’ to join host Jimmy Fallon back in the 80s, to play the hilariously awkward ‘Ermahgerd Prom Guys’. The wrestler-turned-actor was on the show to promote his new movie Central Intelligence, which sees him team with funnyman Kevin Hart, as two old high school friends who join forces to save the world after one of them joins the CIA.

Probably one of POTUS' best TV appearances ever.
It would be so easy for President Barack Obama to forget to take his job seriously, to lose himself in the adoration of the people and over-indulge his rockstar status. And yet he doesn't. Even when he hit up Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show' to 'slow-jam the news', he still managed to be serious about his accomplishments as leader of the United States.
Jimmy Fallon seemed delighted to have Obama on the show
That being said, it doesn't mean he wasn't funny about it. He struggled to keep a straight face when Fallon crooned into the mic: 'Even when Congress tried to block him, he found a way in through the back door', and even joined in a brief rendition of Rihanna's 'Work'. We know what you're all thinking: why can't he just stay? He has an answer to that too. 'I can't stay forever. Besides, daddy's got a Hawaiian vacation booked in about 223 days', he tells the audience, looking at his watch.

McCarthy pulled out all the stops when she took on Jimmy Fallon for the most heated Lip Sync Battle yet.
Melissa McCarthy managed to go from DMX to Pocahontas during an epic Lip Sync Battle with Jimmy Fallon on Monday’s edition of ‘The Tonight Show’. The comedian used glitter, a wind machine and flying furry toys to give a unique performance of ‘Colors of the Wind’ from the Disney soundtrack, leaving Fallon and the rest of the audience lost for words.
Melissa McCarthy had an epic Lip Sync Battle with Jimmy Fallon.
Before the battle began Fallon had admitted he was nervous and McCarthy said she was too, but for different reasons. "I don't get nervous a lot, I'm pretty freaked out about crushing you,” McCarthy told the host.

'The Tonight Show' saw the pair let loose.
Jimmy Fallon presents probably his most childish 'Tonight Show' skit ever with 'Southpaw' star Jake Gyllenhaal, and it's utterly disgusting. They're spraying each other with mouthfuls of food and beverages, and it just gets more and more nauseating by the minute. And yet, for some reason, it's hilarious.
Jimmy Fallon bonds with Jake Gyllenhaal on 'The Tonight Show'
There's nothing funny about being sprayed in the faced with Powerade, coffee, apple or pie in reality, but when Jimmy Fallon and Jake Gyllenhaal did it to each other dressed as cops in their fake cop show 'Point Pleasant Police Department' on 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon' yesterday (March 21st 2016), nobody could stop laughing.

Zayn is releasing his debut album 'Mind of Mine' on March 25th, but the artwork got people thinking they'd seen the same idea somewhere before...
Zayn Malik’s solo career is really up and running now, as he showcased a new track and unveiled the artwork for his upcoming album.
The former 1D star has enjoyed a pretty strong start to his new career on his own, with his first single ‘Pillowtalk’ reaching the top of the charts in 68 countries around the world, including a Number One single in the US that has always eluded One Direction.
However, the first live appearance is often the major obstacle for artists, but Zayn nailed it during a performance of a new song, ‘It’s You’, on ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Wednesday (February 17th).

Rumours have been circulating that the amount of injuries Fallon seems to sustain can be explained by a drinking problem.

Even Jimmy Fallon was impressed!
It's no secret that Tina Fey is one of the funniest women in Hollywood right now, and now she's gone one step further and proved she's a stellar impressionist too! Sure, her Robert De Niro could use a little work, but her Sofia Vergara was on point.
As if we needed another reason to love Tina Fey
The 'Saturday Night Live' comedienne played First Impressions with Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show' with hilarious results. While Fallon mocked her generally terrible ability to mimic, even he couldn't deny that her albeit brief impression of 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara was practically faultless. Plus, her Elmo voice is one of the best we've ever heard. Still, Jack Nicholson wasn't bad either considering it's hard for a woman to reach that vocal register.
The ‘Sisters’ actress stopped by 'The Tonight Show' on Wednesday to reveal a few truths.
Sisters star Amy Poehler joined Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show', Wednesday evening, for a revealing little game named ‘Truth or Truth’. During the game, Poehler hilariously revealed her biggest fear, as well as letting us hear what her real voice sounds like.
Amy Poehler joined Jimmy Fallon for a game of ‘Truth or Truth’ on Wednesday.
“Now, Amy, I consider you a very honest person,” Fallon told his guest. “We're both honest people. I want to know who's more honest...You're up first, Amsters. What's it going to be: truth or truth?” After pausing for effect, Poehler of course answered ‘truth’ and the game began.
A night of disappointment turns into a dream come true at Radio City Music Hall.
If you thought Adele's epic single 'Hello' was an emotional journey, you might think again when you hear this story of two fans' whirlwind night out to see the iconic singer perform in New York City. It's a story that just proves that happiness is wherever Jimmy Fallon is.
That moment when Jimmy Fallon makes all your dreams come true
So, you get given a pair of tickets to see Adele at Radio City Music Hall in New York. It's a last minute deal and you and your friend rush to make it on time, only to be turned away because the tickets were actually fakes. What's the least likely thing to happen next? A) You find that two genuine passes have fallen out of someone's pocket on the sidewalk? B) Two guys change their mind about the whole thing and hand over their own unused tickets before they head home? C) How about Jimmy Fallon shows up, poses for a selfie and then some guy gets you in for free?

The 'Victor Frankenstein' star also made the late night host recreate the 'Gangnam Style' dance.
Daniel Radcliffe stopped by 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on Tuesday, but he probably wishes he’d packed some spare underwear. The Harry Potter star faced off with the talk show host in a game of ‘Water War’, which left him completely soaked, just minutes before he had to go to a premiere.
Daniel Radcliffe faced off with Jimmy Fallon for a game of 'Water War' on Tuesday.
The rules of ‘Water War’ are simple, each contestant takes a card from the deck and whoever draws the highest number gets to pour a pint of water over their opponent. The first to five wins. As the game began, things looked pretty good for Radcliffe as he took an early lead.
Jimmy Fallon provided lots of laughs with his special filming of 'The Tonight Show'.
The Super Bowl XLIX was all anyone could talk about over the weekend - and it wasn't just about the epic win of the New England Patriots over the Seattle Seahawks. As per usual, this year provided some pretty hilarious highlights, most notably from 'The Tonight Show''s Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon provided the comedy at Super Bowl XLIX
Fallon was shooting a Super Bowl special for 'The Tonight Show', filming at the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix for the first time in honour of the occasion. Despite special guests Brandon LaFell, Danny Amendola and LeGarrette Blount of the Patriots making an appearance, Fallon did well to keep the attention on him with his admittedly impressive 'Super Bowl of Lip Sync Battles' skit.

The on-screen legend will be remembered in World of Warcraft
As the world mourns the death of one of its finest entertainers, Robin Williams’ love for videogames is set to manifest in another type of tribute: a non-playable character in Blizzard’s hugely popular MMO, World of Warcraft.

Of course, Williams is well known for gifting many brilliant characters to film and TV, but his love for gaming made him even more of a cult hero in the videogame community – a kind of cultural vanguard for the medium.
The changes from last winter are working - networks are seeing the best late night ratings in ages.
Seven months after Fallon’s Tonight takeover, everything looks great in Late Night Land. Not only has the former late night host managed to revive ratings, he’s managed to keep them high – so high, if fact, that this past week of re-runs topped Tonight originals’ numbers from the same period last year, according to The Hollywood Reporter. THR reports that at this point, Fallon holds 34% of the most coveted demographic – viewers aged between 18 and 49.
Fallon has ushered in a revival for Tonight.
But oddly enough, this influx didn’t come at the expense of other late night formats. Instead of reeling in viewers from competing late night formats, Fallon has brought in new viewers. His wide margin of victory hasn't taken away any considerable portion of David Letterman's or Jimmy Kimmel's audiences. Kimmel even wrapped May virtually steady with his showing that month last year. In fact, Kimmel is on track to wrap the 2014 season with the highest numbers his show has seen since 2003, according to THR.
Because apparently people really don't know!
Ryan Lewis has been forced to ask "Who is Ryan Lewis?" after he began to realise that his professional other half and rapper, Macklemore, was getting a lot more attention than him. Turns out that people don't really know what the producer and DJ actually does.
Luckily, Jimmy Fallon is here to give the music star the publicity leg-up he so clearly needs. Lewis appeared on The Tonight Show last night and featured in a street canvassing stunt to gauge just how much people knew about him with some pretty hilarious results.
Lewis hit the city streets armed with a camera and some questions to interview the general public on their thoughts towards hip hop; more specifically Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; more specifically just Ryan Lewis.

Who knew she could sing (and swear) so well?
Anne Hathaway has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote her latest movie, Rio 2. However, instead of opting for the standard interview fare, the One Day actress threw herself into the comedy and cabaret atmosphere of TV's hottest talkshow by participating in a classic Fallon collaboration.
Anne Hathaway Dropped By Jimmy Fallon's Late Night Show For A Little Sing-Song.
Taking to a stage with a backdrop of red velvet curtains and jazz club soft lighting, Anne and Jimmy performed renditions of classic rap song together. Yes, you read that right - with Jimmy on piano and accompanying vocals and Hathaway taking to the mic, the pair jazzed up some of hip hop's most well-known hits to cheers of excited disbelief from the crowd.

The actress wasn't shy about sharing her awkward audition story.
There are many things to love about “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke. Her dancing, however, is not one of them. The actress, who plays Daenerys Targeryen on the hit HBO show stopped by The Tonight Show for a chat with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday and she regaled the audience with tales of her audition and how it all went a bit weird.
Clarke can do more than just act. Apparently, she's (almost) a master dancer as well.
During her audition, the then 23-year-old Clarke was nervous – understandably – but she powered through her scenes and then asked if there was anything else she could do for the audition. And that’s when Thrones co-creator David Benioff suggested that she “do a little dance”. Presumably it was all a joke, but Clarke did it anyway, as she vividly remembers.
“I don’t know how to do it, but I did the Funky Chicken,” Clarke recalled. “And then it kind of morphed into the Robot.”

Possible "Mean Girls" reunion in the works to celebrate the film's 10th anniversary.

You could say "Late Night" was off to a slow start in comparison, but that might just be how Meyers works.
It looks like Seth Meyers is going for the “start slow and build up from there” approach with his move to Late Night – that’s if his first show is any indication, at least. Taking over from Fallon, who started his Tonight Show run with a rooftop performance by U2 and more celebrity cameos than we could count last week, Meyers struck a completely different note. His hosting style seems to be much more about sharp one liners and crisp delivery, than anything else, really. He did mimic Fallon in one respect though – Meyers used the long-running Late Night segment “Thank You Notes” to send his predecessor a message of gratitude. Seated at his desk, Meyers wrote a letter to Jimmy Fallon, promising to treat Late Night "with respect and dignity and to only use it to do completely original comedy pieces … starting now.” Ha.
Meyers' first Late Night set a completely different tone.
His guests for the night were carefully chosen, obviously to pay homage to Meyers’ SNL roots. For his first guest, Meyers welcomed "Parks and Recreation" star Amy Poehler. Friends since they both joined the cast of "SNL" in 2001, the two shared an easy rapport. Poehler had nothing but encouragement for her former colleague. Mostly.
We focus on the British awards season this week with BRITs and BAFTAs celebrations as well as the arrival of Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show' and a most thrilling trailer drop for a certain superhero movie...
Miley Cyrus Bangerz Tour Controversy: Miley Cyrus has predictably upped the ante on her controversial media storm by making sure all eyes are on her during her currently touring Bangerz show. The concerts have been packed with the usual raunchy and cringe-worthy stunts, including faking a "Monica Lewinski," getting freaky on the bonnet of a car, snogging Katy Perry and doing some pretty unsightly things to a hot dog. Her pre-teen fans are obviously revelling in it but their outraged accompanying parents have called for the tour to be axed. Check out the whole debate.

There's one final change taking place at NBC tonight.
With all the fuss over Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show takeover, another pending move has gone somewhat overlooked. Now it’s time for Seth Meyers to step into the spotlight, as he takes over NBC’s Late Night. It’s been a strange month over at NBC.
Unlike Fallon, Meyers' style is less about improv and more about the writing and topical sketches.

The First Lady spoke about healthcare, her kids and the Olympics
If you’ve been watching House of Cards recently, you’ll have the impression that every media appearance by a personal of political influence is a meticulously planned affair. (Oh Claire Underwood, that was a risk). And they are. But watching Michelle Obama breeze onto The Tonight Show to have a chat with Jimmy Fallon, and you’d be forgiven for thinking they asked her at the last minute.
Michelle Obama had an open chat with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show
With her usual charm and charisma, The First Lady spoke about her two kids - Malia and Sasha - and how all they want is to live normally, without their father – the most famous man in the world – coming to their school. "They want nothing to do with us," she said, laughing. "They really want normalcy and the White House isn't normal," she explained. "I'll say 'Don't you want to invite your friends over to watch a movie?' She's like, 'No one wants to come here.'"

It's time to get excited. Jimmy Fallon certainly is.
Jimmy Fallon. The Tonight Show. New York. These three things sound like a great combination, but we won’t know for sure until Fallon actually takes over from Jay Leno this Monday. At T minus one day to go to the big premiere, the host has been doing the obligatory press rounds, including a guest article on the New York Daily News, in the style of his thank you cards, which became a staple of The Late Show (Fallon's previous home).
Fallon is a New Yorker, through and through and that will mean some changes for the show.
In the heartfelt open letter, Fallon pays tribute to the masters. He thanks the previous hosts of The Tonight Show - Johnny Carson, Steve Allen, Jack Paar, Conan O’Brien, Jay Leno – not forgetting stars of late night television from other shows – like David Letterman, Ernie Kovacs and SNL’s Lorne Michaels. And he does have a lot to be thankful for – after all, Fallon’s career found its roots in his early days at SNL.
You can take Meyers out of SNL, but you can't take SNL out of the host.
NBC stars definitely like to keep it in the family. So when it came time for Seth Meyers to pick someone to lead the band on his newly acquired show Late Night (previously hosted by Jimmy Fallon, who has moved on to The Tonight Show), Meyers picked a familiar face. According to TV Guide, he tapped former SNL co-star Fred Armisen, who has plenty of musical experience alongside his comedy work.
Armisen obviously has the experience Meyers needs, just look at this picture of him holding a guiter.
Before going into comedy, Armisen played drums in the punk rock band Trenchmouth and in the Blue Man group back in the 1990s. He also often played musical instruments during sketches on SNL. Armisen, who left SNL last year, is currently starring in and executive producing his IFC comedy series Portlandia, alongside co-star and co-creator Carrie Brownstein. However, Meyers mentioned this in the announcement and it sounds like the comedian’s new commitment won’t interfere with his Portlandia duties (thankfully).
Jimmy Fallon gave fans a special thank you as he signed off, with the help of The Muppets, from his last ever 'Late Night' episode.
The clearly emotional 39 year-old, who is taking over from the departing Jay Leno on the 'Tonight Show', said his farewells with a little help from The Muppets.
Fallon's last ever 'Late Show' began with a lively performance of 'On a Night Like This' with Buckwheat Zydeco and house band The Roots.
The 'Two and a Half Men' actors experience a little rivalry.
Charlie Sheen has apologised to his Two and a Half Men successor Ashton Kutcher after Kutcher said he was fed up of his performance being criticised by Sheen. The 36 year-old Jobs star said on Jimmy Fallon Live! earlier this week that Sheen needed to get over not being on the sitcom any more.
An Exasperated Ashton Kutcher Told Charlie Sheen To Lay Off On The Criticism.
Though Kutcher said he felt like he was on the show, the actor issues a direct plea to Sheen on the show, Kutcher said: "Dude, shut the f*** up! Seriously, like, enough already. Like it's like three years later and you're still blowing me up on Twitter. Like come on dude, really?"

Last night, Leno bid farewell to The Tonight Show with what many considered to be a slightly sub-par show. Still, it did what it set out to do – with Jimmy Fallon as the guest, Leno officially turned over the reigns to his successor and the circle of life moves on along.
Without having to do a show every week, Leno will return to his first love - standup.
Now the only question is – what will the 63-year-old host do now that there’s a massive gap in his schedule? According to an interview Leno did recently with the LA Times, another TV show isn’t something he’s willing to try for. Instead, he’s returning to his roots.

The 'Gravity' actress became emotional on Jay's penultimate show.
Sandra Bullock has expressed her sincere gratitude towards Jay Leno for his long-standing support over the years, even when she may not have necessarily deserved it. The outgoing host of The Tonight Show welcomed the Gravity actress for the penultimate episode of his talkshow before comedian Jimmy Fallon takes over hosting responsibilities.
Actress Sandra Bullock Has Expressed Her Gratitude Towards Jay Leno.
"When I saw you in Wrestling Earnest Hemingway, I looked at you the way I looks at my wife for the first time," Leno said. "You just popped and I went 'Oh my God, this person's going to be a big star' and it all came true," the sweet host added. Then it was Bullock's opportunity to say nice things in return, which came from the heart if her tears of emotion were anything to judge by.

Will Smith will join U2 as the show airs with new host Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon takes over Leno on the re-vamped show
The former 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' host was announced to replace Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show' last year, with his own show being taken over by 'Saturday Night Live' star Seth Meyers on February 24th 2014. 'I Am Legend' actor Will Smith will be Fallon's first guest on his new show, no doubt discussing his several upcoming movie projects including comedy 'Focus' .
Leno isn't resting on his laurels before he leaves the Tonight Show this January.
As Jay Leno’s reign over the Tonight Show comes to an end and Jimmy Fallon’s is just about to begin, the first and final guests have been announced. Basically, both hosts are going to make their first/last nights memorable with an A-list roster of guests. Here's the roundup, courtesy of TV Guide.
Fallon will take the torch from his predecessor on February 17.
Leno’s victory lap will include Betty White on Monday, February 3rd followed by Leno’s successor, Jimmy Fallon. Maybe that will ease the transition. Matthew McConaughey, on a break from his current awards show tour, will pop by on Tuesday. That night will feature a couple of seasoned Tonight Show vets – Charles Barkley will make it his 23rd Tonight appearance, and Lyle Lovett will perform on the show for the 17th time. Sounds like nostalgia will rule the night.

Fallon will become the latest in a long-line of 'Tonight Show' hosts in February
Jimmy Fallon's reign as host of Late Night has come to a timely finish and after the comic aired the compilation special The Best of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Sunday, 5 December, night it was very much the beginning of the end. Not to worry though, as the final bow from Fallon on the Late Show came with a friendly reminder that Fallon will be back in even bigger shoes to walk in very soon.
Fallon seems like the best man for the job
As the trailer (watch below) points out, Fallon is moving on to continue 60 years of television tradition when he replaces Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show next month, and the trailer doesn't toy around with how important the gig is for Fallon. Featuring clips of every Tonight Show host to fall before him, from Jack Paar, Carnac the Magnificent (and Johnny Carson in normal attire), a very young Jay Leno, Steve Allen and even Conan O'Brien, the emphasis on what Fallon faces isn't sugarcoated. After all, we don't want another Conan-fiasco again do we?

Maybe it was Kim and Kanye's constant media presence this year that knocked them down on the list.
A recently conducted annual survey ranks Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as the least desirable celebrity neighbors, proving that surveys can in fact be conducted on topics that nobody cares about. Nobody except Zillow, an online real estate database, which has been conducting a survey on the subject every year since its founding in 2005. The Zillow Celebrity Neighbor Service, which was conducted for the seventh year in a row, ranks Jimmy Fallon as the one face that people would most like to see across the fence, proving what we at CM have already known for a long time.
A bonus of living next to Fallon: regular visits by members of The Roots and possibly Justin Timberlake.
What is a bit surprising is that Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t voted “the most” as she has in so many other contests this year, but the Hunger Games star did come second, which is still something. Lawrence tied for second with country couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. On the other end of the spectrum, the title of second least desirable neighbors went to the cast of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

The promos are here! It's happening!
Are you counting down the days until Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake host/guest on Saturday Night Live? Of course you are. We all are. Only three days left. Despite Fallon being an SNL alumn himself, he wasn’t spared from having to brave the NY cold and record some promos for the Dec 21 event alongside Kenan Thompson and Kate McKinnon. And we’re glad for that, because, predictably, Fallon’s promos are pretty hilarious.
Brace yourselves, the SNL show you didn't even know you needed is almost here.
And, uh, we hate to break it to you... but JT won’t be there, because of a cancelled flight. Nah, of course he’ll be there, but they did give us a start with that particular joke. Though Fallon and Thompson would be forgiven, since they were apparently forced to stand in the snow (or pigeon droppings, as Jimmy joked in true NY style) for hours to film those promos.
The future host of The Tonight Show is already making his mark.
Just in case you had forgotten – we hadn’t – Jimmy Kimmel is set to take over The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from February 17. He made it official today, by tweeting the brand new logo for the show, now featuring his name. In case you want to get in on the social media action, the hashtag is #FallonTonight.
Fallon is excited to take over the Tonight Show from longtime host Leno.
It was announced earlier this year, that after many shifts at NBC, Leno would be replaced by Fallon and The Tonight Show will return to his original home in NYC. Before Fallon leaves his current home at Late Night, however, he will bow out one last time, with a special episode of the show, commemorating his run. A special, entitled “Best of Late Show with Jimmy Fallon” is set to air early in 2014. Fallon will then be replaced with Saturday Night Live alumn Seth Meyers, because NBC likes to keep it in the family apparently. Fallon even talked to the NY Daily News about some possible improvements that’ll be brought to the Tonight Show after his takeover.
Jimmy Fallon allowed Harrison Ford to pierce his ear so they could wear matching earrings!
Ford was promoting his new film 'Ender's Game' on the show but things took a different turn when the host let the iconic actor pierce his ear.
Fallon actually asked for this to be done by the 71 year-old but before Ford conducted the piercing, he put on a white lab coat, blue rubber gloves and downed a shot of tequila.

Who could make "The Fox" sound better than The Roots?
Viral sensation Ylvis have finally gotten some mainstream validation, by which we of course mean getting to perform The Fox on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. A treat for all you Roots fans out there, the Norwegian comedians did a rendition with the Late Night band, but instead of a cover on toy instruments, they performed their rather unusual hit almost in its original form.
The talk show host has always been good at keeping abreast of internet trends.
That’s not to say it wasn’t an entertaining show none the less, what with Ylvis bringing the fox costumes and their full dance crew to the Late Night set. Seriously, everyone was there, from the elephant going “toot” to the fish with their rather inexplicable “blub” – after all, everyone knows that fish go “splash.”
The Roots take on Miley's divisive track to turn it into a catchy a capella tune.
Miley Cyrus partied it up over the summer, but for her Tuesday appearance on Late Night, she served up a toned down, a cappella version of 'We Can’t Stop,' in collaboration with The Roots and Jimmy Fallon. The cover was intended as promotion for Miley’s newly released Bangerz, but it may have also helped to redeem the singer in the eyes of some of her more…critical fans.
See, she can still be (mostly) family-friendly.
It was a Brady Bunch-like montage, with Miley sporting a clean, toned down outfit and singing in the gentlest tones we’ve heard from her of late. Barring lines like “trying to get a line in the bathroom,” it was almost family-friendly. And, of course, like anything The Roots touch, it was catchier than ever. As an added bonus, this kind of tribute to the squeaky clean 90s favorite The Brady Bunch means that Cyrus hasn’t entirely left her family TV roots behind – perhaps Hannah Montana is dead and buried, but even this new, rebellious, platinum blonde Cyrus appreciates a bit of 90s sitcom goodness. And of course, vocally, she's at her best with this cover.

What a year! He's King of the pop world right now: can one or two measly reviews take him down?
Justin Timberlake should rightly feel like king of the world this year: he's already got the year's biggest selling record under his belt after March's The 20/20 Experience but rather than rest on his laurels and head to Barbados for some downtime, the productive popstar immediately set to work making his follow-up, The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2.
JT prancing around in some water - why not?
By all estimations, 2 of 2 is in with a good chance of doing as well if not better than its counterpart after lead singles 'Take Back The Night' and 'TKO' stormed the charts. The two-part project is slickly produced and employs more of a disco pop sound than Justin has previously experimented with, drawing clear Michael Jackson comparisons.

Johnny Carson, the legendary NBC talk show host, will be the subject of a miniseries. NBC will be producing the series, based on Bill Zehme's long awaited biography.
NBC will honour one of its icons, Johnny Carson, in a mini-series based on his life.
Jay Leno cites Carson as one of his influences.
The series will follow Carson's life from his childhood in Nebraska until his death in 2005. The show will be based on the biography written by Bill Zehme, entitled Carson the Magnificent: An Intimate Portrait, and features a number of personal details gathered from Zehme's access to Carson's close personal and professional connections. Zehme's book is yet to be published owing to numerous delays, presumably the publication will now tie in with the release or pre-release of some material from the series.

The 'Argo' actor laughs off the criticism... and learns not to scroll to the comments section.
Ben Affleck has finally responded to the backlash and online petition against him being the next Batman in the 2015 Zack Snyder face-off with Henry Cavill's Superman. As the petition's signatures crept past 90,000, the actor could not pretend he was unaware of the furore any longer. It was time for the Oscar-winning director to address the online tirades and bad feeling towards him.
See: It's All In His Stride.
Appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Monday night (16th Sept), Affleck was given a platform to air his views on the tidal wave of hatred he was hit with. He revealed how he was given stern advice by Warner Bros., who told him: "don't use the internet for a few days."

The '30 Rock' actress and comedian will be the new season's first guest host.
Tina Fey will host the Saturday Night Live season premiere episode on 28th September, it has been announced by NBC, via the NY Times. She will be joined by Canadian indie rockers Arcade Fire who will appear in the show performing some of their music.
Tina Fey To Host SNL For A Fourth Time.
Fey is just one of three high profile guest hosts for the upcoming 39th season that NBC have planned, with Miley Cyrus and Bruce Willis taking the hosting responsibilities in the second and third episodes respectively. During Bruce Willis' third week on 12th October, 'California Gurls' pop star Katy Perry will join the Die Hard actor.

Two weeks after announcing the birth of his daughter, the late night chat show host has revealed that he used a surrogate to start a family
Jimmy Fallon became a dad for the first time last month, when he and wife Nancy welcomed their daughter Winnie Rose to the world. This week, the late night talk show host has revealed that he and his wife had used a surrogate to help them start a family. In an interview with NBC's Today, the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon said that the pair hadn't planned on keeping the surrogacy a secret, they just wanted to reveal the news in their own time.
Jimmy and his wife, Nancy, became parent last month
"It wasn’t really a secret, but my wife and I had been trying for awhile to have a baby. We’ve tried a bunch of different things, so we had a surrogate,” he said in his interview. Having faced pregnancy troubles in the past, Fallon also said that the pair wanted to keep the birth to themselves and close friends and family, wanting to keep the pregnancy to themselves, until they felt ready to share the good news. He continued, “This time we just said we’re not going to tell anybody, it’d be just more fun if it’s just private between me and my wife and then we get to introduce her to everybody.”

It's probably the best version of the song so far.
Love it or hate it, Blurred Lines is definitely the catchiest summer tune that’s come out in a while – and yet Fallon managed to make it catchier. Robin Thicke is the just the latest artist, whose music has received the Fallon treatment. The Fallon treatment in this case being a cover by Jimmy Fallon and the Roots, using kiddie instruments.

Last year it was Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe (we may or may not still hum that one in private), but seeing grown men play metal blocks, metal spoons, a tiny xylophone and… some sort of musical banana thing really never gets old. Sidenote: the name of that toy is still a mystery, so let’s go with “shaky banana” for the time being. Oh and Black Thought rapping into a colorful maraca? Priceless.
Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy have welcomed a baby girl into the world in the same week as a host of other celebrity childbirths, including the royal baby.
The world is in a state of baby mania! First Prince Wills and Kate’s son, then Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem’s little girl and now Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy’s daughter all within a few days. As the world wakes up, the fresh celebrity infant cries every morning, new lives in the glare of media spotlight are embarked on as famous parents pop babies out left, right and centre.

Kings of Leon make their return with 'Supersoaker.'
Kings Of Leon have released 'Supersoaker,' the first single from their forthcoming album Mechanical Bull. The soulful effort features the band's signature anthemic guitar bursts and Caleb Followill's scowling vocals. All in all, it's pretty standard fare from the Nashville four-piece and it suggests more of the same for the band's sixth LP.
The Michael J. Fox show will welcome Chris Christie in the fall.
New Jersey governor Chris Christie is to appear on Michael J Fox's eponymous new sitcom, following his numerous late-night TV appearances, including Saturday Night Live. Christie's office confirmed reports that the Republican politician will make a cameo on an episode sometime this fall, though NBC is yet to announce the air date of the episode, according to Zap2it.com.
The Michael J. Fox Show is an anticipated sitcom set for later this year on which the legendary actor plays a sports-caster with Parkinson's disease who returns to work. Clearly, the show is partly based on Fox's real-life.
There is no word yet on what Christie will do on the show as himself, though seen as though he's running for second term as governor on November 5, it may well have a political aspect to it. There's been plenty of buzz about The Michael J. Fox Show and should it pass the critical test, it should be a stroke of genius for Christie and his team - in terms of a re-election.
The Saturday Night Live comic and Jimmy Kimmel's future success on 'Late Night' has gotten engaged to his long-time girlfriend Alexi Ashe

Congratulations to the both of them!

The talk show host aired his parody of the hit show on Sunday night's (May 26) episode
Jimmy Fallon has a history of celebrating pop culture on his show in a thoroughly enjoyable way, and his salute to HBO's hit fantasy series Game Of Thrones brought no change to the rule. The nearly 10-minute long tribute is currently doing the rounds across the web, and following a bleak and barren Sunday without the hit series Fallon's parody did just enough to keep GoT fans going until the return of season 3 later this year.
The Late Night... gang went all out for the tremendously OTT sketch, which looked to show the similarities between the Late Night studio and the fictional realm of Westeros, with the skit titled 'Game of Desks.' Fallon took on a variety of guises, including Sean Bean's Ned Stark and Emilia Clark's Daenerys Stormborn Targaryen, with Late Night... regulars The Roots and even Jay Leno showing up for the 'behind the scenes' look at the Late Night... studio and the fight for the Iron Desk.
As House Fallon fought against House Fire Crotch in the bid to rule over the Rockefeller Kingdom, in the 'real' Game of Thrones world there has been a week off as the series draws towards it's penultimate episode of the third season. After this weeks laughs things will be getting serious again in the upcoming episode 'The Rains of Castamere,' which promises to be an all-action lead-up to full-blown conflict as the warring dominions of Westeros continue/begin their campaigns for the Iron Throne and the white walkers and wildings continue their marches down south.
TIME'S 100 Most Influential People In The World and other famous faces take to the red carpet at New York's Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Frank Ocean at the TIME 100 Gala in New York
It was the annual TIME 100 Gala on Tuesday night (April 23rd 2013) celebrating this year's most influential faces from world leaders to movie stars and the red carpet was full of stars waiting to congratulate the 2013 list.
Grammy winning superstar Christina Aguilera dazzled at Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York looking classy and much trimmer than she has been in recent months and making the TIME'S 100 Most Influential People In The World list in the Artists category. She was joined by 2013 Grammy and BRIT artist Frank Ocean who has dominated the R&B industry with his spectacular debut album 'Channel Orange' and his rather inspiring love life confessions. Talk show hosts Jimmy Fallon (of 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon') and Jimmy Kimmel (of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!') were also present, as was 'Breaking Bad' star Bryan Cranston whose crime drama has won him a Primetime Emmy. Lena Dunham landed a place in the Icons category for her comedy show 'Girls' which has won her a Golden Globe. Other honourees included Perry Chen, the founder of Kickstarter - a creative project fund-raising website, who reached the Pioneers list, and fashion designer Michael Kors who hit the list of influential Titans of the world.
Jey Leno in NBC jokes
If Jay Leno is being ousted from The Tonight Show, with Jimmy Fallon replacing him, then he’s not going down without a fight. Maybe not a fight, but he’s certainly not going down without a few snide jokes.
So, the jokes. He started with: “Doctors in Canada were shocked after pulling a three-inch knife blade from the back of a 32-year old man. The knife had been in there for three years! Imagine that, the guy had a knife in his back for three years. He must’ve worked at NBC too. I was stunned by that.” And the second: “Have you heard about this alleged feud that I’m having with NBC? I think it’s going to be OK. This is real: I had dinner last night with a bunch of NBC executives. To make it up to me, what they did, they are sending my wife and I on an all expenses paid Carnival cruise. How about that? So it looks like it’s going to be OK. Fantastic!"

NBC still hasn't cleared up it's transition plans for the Tonight Show, but that hasn't stopped Jay Leno from joking about them.
Ever since NBC made the confusing announcement (confusing because Leno is currently the network’s highest performer in ratings) the Tonight Show host has been slipping subtle (or not quite) jabs at NBC execs into his monologues. During a taping of the show yesterday, he directed not one, but two quips at NBC. First was the obvious strike: “Doctors in Canada were shocked after pulling a three-inch knife blade from the back of a 32-year old man. The knife had been in there for three years! Imagine that, the guy had a knife in his back for three years. He must’ve worked at NBC too. I was stunned by that.”
Ouch! We don’t know if the execs caught that one, but it certainly lets you know where Leno’s mind is. Later, he went for a milder approach: “Have you heard about this alleged feud that I’m having with NBC? I think it’s going to be OK. This is real: I had dinner last night with a bunch of NBC executives. To make it up to me, what they did, they are sending my wife and I on an all expenses paid Carnival cruise. How about that? So it looks like it’s going to be OK. Fantastic!”

Howard Stern claims Jimmy Fallon's salary is "about a tenth" of his own.
Howard Stern has reacted explosively to rumors he is set to take over from Jimmy Fallon in the late night slot on NBC. A New York Post report claimed that network executives are "grooming" the shock jock for the 12.3am time slot, should Fallon take over The Tonight Show from Jay Leno, whose contract is up in 2014.
However, Stern - the highest paid entertainer in radio - said on his show, "First of all, what an insult. Like, all the years of my career. I'm like, the biggest guy in radio. I've done film. I've done television. I mean, they act like I'm some kind of f--king beginner or something. Maybe if I'm really nice to NBC they'll let me take over Carson Daly's show at like 2 o'clock in the morning," Stern sarcastically quipped.
The comments appear to suggest there's absolutely no chance Stern will be replacing Fallon, though it was considered a surprise when he agreed to be a judge on America's Got Talent. Furthermore, the Post quoted his wife Beth as saying, "He is one of the best interviewers out there," when quizzed on the possibility of her husband taking the job.

Howard Stern to replace Jimmy Fallon in the chat show merry-go-round?
Jimmy Fallon is replacing Jay Leno as Tonight host
Change. We don’t like change. If we could have it our way, Jay Leno would just be the Tonight Show host forever. Change, though, is inevitable, and change will see Jimmy Fallon host the Tonight Show from 2014, apparently.

Is Jay Leno retiring?
Jay Leno retirement? We never thought we’d here those words, but here they are. The Hollywood Reporter reported that two high-level industry sources as saying the end is neigh for Leno, and that the 2013-14 television season will be his last.
A Leno rep towed the party line, saying "We do not speculate on rumor," but the words of those sources have got people gossiping. So what will NBC do if their stalwart chat show host departs for a more relaxed lifestyle? Leno appeared on the (SPOILER) last few episodes of Louie, playing himself and bemoaning the life of a chat show host and doing 14 minutes every night. He hinted that he was once the cool hip guy, but he wasn’t any more. Is this how he feels in real life? More importantly, is this what the network think? Reports suggest Jimmy Fallon is the one to replace him, as he’ll pull in the younger viewers. Jay Leno is also very expensive, and NBC are looking to save as much money as possible. “The more time Jimmy Kimmel is in that slot, the more the young audience goes that way, the harder it is for Jimmy [Fallon] to keep that audience,” said THR’s source.

Justin Timberlake has announced he will return to SNL on March 9, 2013
Justin Timberlake will make a triumphant comeback to Saturday Night Live, acting as both host and musical guest for the evening on March 9, 2013, a week before the anticipated release of his new album The 20/20 Experience. It's a tough gig, though if anyone can do it, it's Timberlake, having helmed the show on four previous occasions.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, comedian Kevin Hart will host on March 2 with musical guest Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, of Thrift Shop fame. Timberlake is certainly stepping up the promotion for his new record, also agreeing to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on every episode for the week commencing Monday March 11. He'll perform each night and sit down for a chat with Jimmy on the Monday and Friday. Fallon did a similar week long celebration when Bruce Springsteen released his Wrecking Ball album last year.
The 20/20 Experience will be released March 19 on RCA Records, with Timberlake having already released two singles, Suit & Tie with Jay-Z and Mirrors. He's also performed new tracks Pusher Love Girl and That Girl live, while signing up to headline London's Wireless Festival in the summer.

Around three million people are expected to line the streets of New York for Macy’s 86th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. The event kicks off at 8am and already, teams of workers have been hard at work setting up for the parade, with giant inflatables being set in place for the huge yearly event. An enormous Buzz Lightyear was blown up last night, along with an enormous Hello Kitty figure and Sonic the Hedgehog will be showing his face, too.

Christina Aguilera and The Roots performed a pretty special version of her single ‘Your Body,’ along with Jimmy Fallon. The musical stars joined the chat show host in his office before appearing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, using his office supplies as musical instruments. Somewhat surprisingly, Fallon proved to be a pretty impressive vocal talent, in no way outdone by The Roots or Aguilera.
Christina herself was in fine voice, and the video clip makes for pretty entertaining viewing. Dressed in a leather jacket and with pink dip-dyed hair, her powerful vocals sounded great over the unusual percussion provided by The Roots. The seven members of The Roots were crammed into the office, with Fallon and Aguilera and used items such as elastic bands, paper clips, scissors and coffee pots to bulk up the song.
On Friday night, Aguilera also performed at the Hurricane Sandy Tribute Concert, aired by NBC. Performing at the concert, she explained how she had grown up on Staten Island, which had been devastated by the hurricane. She went on to sing a moving rendition of ‘Beautiful,’ one of her biggest hits and a tale of finding inner strength in tough times. She was praised by the PopCrush blog for not trying to use the event to promote her new album, but just pouring her heart and soul into the performance and trying to offer hope to those in need.
America is still rocked by the devastating aftermath of hurricane Sandy, and the thought that 'never would a disaster like this happen to me' seemed to resonate on the faces at the Sandy Benefit Concert on Friday (Nov. 2).
Opening the night's proceedings was Staten Island-born Christina Aguilera, who kicked things off with a powerful and stripped down rendition of her song 'Beautiful'. Relying solely on her vocals, Xtina packed a heft punch that delivered all the way home. Next up to perform was New Jersey's Jon Bon Jovi who first gave a shout-out to his hometown of Sayerville, N.J., before re-appropriating his hair-rock hit 'Livin’ On A Prayer' to suit the sombre mood in the studio.
Bruce Springsteen has been confirmed as one of the major US acts to play a benefit concert for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, which has blighted the East coast of the United States this week. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be joined by Christina Aguilera, Billy Joel, Sting and Bon Jovi for the televised special, which will air on Friday (November 2, 2012). It will be hosted by Matt Lauer (of the Today show) and the late night chat show host Jimmy Fallon will be making an appearance, as will NBC News’ Brian Williams.
The money collected from the event will be donated to the American Red Cross, who are organising relief efforts for those affected by the devastating storm, as well as other disasters. The Red Cross will provide food, shelter, emotional support and other services to those affected by Hurricane Sandy. After Hurricane Katrina, in 2005, a similar benefit concert raised around $50 million for the Red Cross.
The concert, named ‘Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together’ will air at 8pm EST on Friday, on ET on NBC, NBC.com, USA Network, SyFy, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, E!, Style Network, G4 and more.” However, a spokesperson for NBC Universal has told the New York Times that any channels not owned by NBC will not be able to air the concert.
David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon may be taking the phrase 'the show much go on' a little too seriously, as both chat show hosts continued to tape their shows despite numerous warnings in light of Hurricane Sandy or Frankenstorm as it's become known.
It was all a little bit weird. Lettermen ran through some rejected nicknames for the storm, which would have been a hilarious bit on his normal show, but given the lack of live studio audience, and the fact his usual graphics guy was absent - meaning someone held up scrappy bits of paper on camera - it wasn't quite the slick show we've come to expect. At least Fallon started his show off with an acknowledgment that it was to be somewhat abnormal, kicking things off from a rain-soaked Rockefeller Plaza. Jimmy Kimmel decided to play it safe. The Hollywood reporter quotes a statement from his team, saying: "Due to stupid Hurricane Sandy and in the interest of the safety of our studio audience, Jimmy Kimmel Live! will not broadcast tonight from the Harvey Theatre at Brooklyn Academy of Music. We are hopeful to be back on the air tomorrow night with Howard Stern,Tracy Morgan and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings." Kimmel did go ahead with his Tuesday show (30th Oct. 2012).
This won't come as comforting news to many New Yorkers, many of which won't have the power to even watch the show (some reports suggest that power will be out for two weeks). Here at Contact Music we'd like to wish everyone on the East Coast the best of luck in getting through the stormy weather.
The mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg has been making sure that the city's residents were fully prepared for Hurricane Sandy, which hit New York last night. And whilst the majority of New York citizens paid heed, TV presenter David Letterman decided to pay heed instead to that age-old motto from the world of entertainment. "the show must go on!"
According to MTV, Letterman wasn't going to let a minor detail like the biggest storms to ever hit the USA stop him from filming one of his late night chat shows. He did, however, film the episode of The Late Show With David Letterman without the presence of his usual live audience. He may have been prepared to brave the elements to get the show filmed but he wasn't about to let the general public endanger themselves in the process. The same applied to Jimmy Fallon's show, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
Other shows weren't so lucky. Jimmy Kimmel was forced to cancel one of his tapings in Brooklyn, announcing on Twitter "Though it pains us to do it, JKL from Brooklyn tonight is cancelled. I'm disappointed too, but we want you to be safe." Over at Comedy Central, however, the laughter stopped for the night. Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart both cancelled the filming for their shows.
Though we know Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's wedding took place in Fasano, Italy, on Friday (October 19, 2012), further details of the ceremony have been pretty difficult to get hold of. The couple did a pretty good job of keeping the whole thing under wraps, though E! Online managed to get a quick look at the guest list, at least.
Timberlake - who recently unveiled his new version of MySpace - tied the knot with Hollywood star Biel in front of Jimmy Fallon, Timbaland and actress Beverly Mitchell. The newlyweds were spotted rolling their luggage through the airport on Sunday, though Biel ensured nobody got a look at her wedding band. Timberlake on the other hand was pretty happy to give photographers a glimpse of his. Justin's new wife has had an odd couple of years in Hollywood. Once hailed as an up-and-coming leading lady, she's underwhelmed in substandard efforts 'Valentine's Day', 'New Year's Eve', 'The A-Team', 'The Tall Man' and most recently, 'Total Recall'. Basically, if you're a movie producer and you can't get Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts or Charlize Theron, you might give Biel a call.
Nevertheless, she has a couple of interesting looking projects coming up, not least 'Hitchcock,' with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren, and David O'Russell's highly anticipated 'Nailed', with Jake Gyllenhaal.
Barbra Streisand is now half-way through her triumphant homecoming, having performed to a sell-out audience at Brooklyn’s Barclays Centre for the first time last night (October 11, 2012). The screen, stage and studio superstar will head back to her home town’s new massive concert venue for a second time tomorrow (October 13), before hitting the road once again as she continues her already massively successful Barbra Live tour.
Whilst blaSting out the hits last night, there was no shortage of famous faces in the crowd, with Barbara Walters, Jimmy Fallon, Sting, Katie Couric, Woody Allen, Michael Douglas and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg all spotted in the crowd. And if that wasn’t enough, the upper echelons of the fashion world also made an appearance at the show, designers Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors being spotted in the audience.
Streisand's ex-husband, Elliott Gould, was also at the event, in support of his and Barbara’s son Jason, who accompanied his mother on stage. Barbra introduced Jason to the audience as her “pride and joy,” before performing ‘How Deep Is the Ocean’ together.

“Kelsey Grammer was supposed to be on my show, but he ran out of the building. Strange,” tweeted the talk show host on Wednesday. The news seems to have offended Morgan, who himself cuts a ‘love or hate’ figure in the U.K. “So, Kelsey Grammer saw a photo of his ex-wife Camille in the open of our show and legged it. Extraordinary. Never had this happen before … I like Kelsey Grammer personally, but this was a shockingly unprofessional thing to do. I wasn’t even going to mention his ex-wife.” Grammer's publicist told The Hollywood Reporter: "Piers needs to take responsibility for what he did to Kelsey. It's called accountability." Seemingly embarrassed, and unable to let it go, Morgan continued to tweet about the Frasier star, saying "Relax Jimmy, unlike my guest Mr Grammer last night, I won't run away." He was referring to his upcoming appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
The ex-wife Morgan was joking about may have had something to do with Grammer’s untimely exit (or timely, depending on who you ally with) although nothing has been officially released regarding what was said backstage. Grammer, 57, and Camille divorced last year before he married British flight attendant Kayte Walsh, who is 25 years younger than him.
