Jimmy Choo will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a range of crystal shoes.

The luxury footwear brand's signature jewelled shoes are to be updated and reissued for the Crystal Anniversary collection, with the accompanying imagery to be shot by renowned photographer and painter Marilyn Minter.

Tamara Mellon, founder and chief creative officer of Jimmy Choo, said: "In celebrating our 15 years, I wanted to create a modern glamour that stands for the style and imagination of Jimmy Choo. I was inspired by vintage jewellery to add sparkling and luminous details to iconic Jimmy Choo shapes. I have long been a collector and a fan of Marilyn's work and know that she can capture the essence of my vision."

While Jimmy Choo is to celebrate its 15th anniversary, Tamara recently revealed she is to continue as The Firm's president, as there is too much "future growth" left in the business.

She said: "I'm not going anywhere. There is too much future growth in the business for me to leave now. We're looking at all the different options available to us and it's hard to know which is preferable until we've really examined them all."

Her comments followed reports she and the other Jimmy Choo shareholders were preparing to appoint financial advisors in a bid to sell The Company, believed to be worth up to $800 million.
