Singer Jimmy Buffett put on a surprise performance at a charity gala in his honour on Thursday (08Dec11).
Buffett was the guest of honour at the Child Mind Institute's annual fundraising bash in New York, which was hosted by U.S. TV star Matt Lauer.
Guests included Kyle MacLachlan and former tennis star John MCEnroe, who were thrilled when Buffett jumped on stage to play a set of his most famous hits, including Little Children and Volcano.
The gala helped raise more than $5 million (£3.1 million) for the charity.
