Crooner Jimmy Buffett made history in Chicago, Illinois, on Sunday (04SEP05) and Monday (05SEP05) by playing the first rock shows at baseball mecca Wrigley Field.

The MARGARITAVILLE singer ended his summer (05) tour on a high note at the home of the Chicago Cubs.

It was a special show for Buffett - he's a massive Cubs fan.

Buffett dedicated a sizeable portion of his set to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, signing a Cubs jersey at the front of the show and announcing that it would be auctioned on eBay with the proceeds going to the Red Cross' relief effort.

More than 87,000 fans attended the two sold out shows.
