Jim Carrey is so determined to spray paint the walls outside his New York City studio he has offered to pay for officials to remove his street art.
Workers painted over the art the funnyman had sprayed on the outside wall of his West Village creative base, which he has dubbed the Church of Ffc, prompting him to defy graffiti laws and create something new under his artist moniker Baba.
Carrey tells Tmz.com he's not upset with the city worker who painted over his art, stating, "This gentleman has a job to do. I'm just doing my job now as an artist and putting it back up.
"They can take it down again if they want to and it's OK with me... I'll even pay for it."
