Expectant mother Jessica Simpson can't wait to give birth so she can start working off the 40 pounds (18 kilograms) she has gained during her pregnancy.
The singer/actress is due to welcome her first child with fiance Eric Johnson in the coming weeks and while she admits she has enjoyed not having to work out or watch what she eats over the past eight months, the star insists it's time to claim her pre-baby figure back.
She tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "I had a great pregnancy. Eating and not having to worry too much about it has been fun. Taking a break from working out has definitely been fun. But I'm ready for it to be over. I'm ready to have my body back! I feel like I could pop at any second."
